Notes:

Sigmund Freud refers to Paul J. Möbius ‘Neurologische Beiträge’. In this book he defends his psychological point of view over that of Meynert and his school. He defends vigorously the reality of the injuries suffered by individuals who had what were then called traumatic neuroses. See the J. M. Masson translation.
